"We met Rebecca as a College Counselor in 2014 at Benjamin Franklin International School (BFIS) in Barcelona where our French-American sons were studying. Our family got to know Rebecca through the college process of our oldest son. She opened his University discovery process to include the United Kingdom, where he ultimately studied theatre and film in London. Rebecca’s support through this process was knowledgeable, pro-active, and results-oriented in order to help Pierre find his best fit.
Rebecca was very sensitive to Pierre’s individual needs and goals. She really invested the time so that the final college choice was truly an affirmation of the student’s aspirations. We can honestly say that our son spent four transformative years in an excellent environment for theatre tradition and practice. The following year Rebecca made a tour in the UK with BFIS students and visited Pierre on his new campus, and he was able to share in person his college process and first-year experience with others. Pierre continued his passion and moved to Berlin where he completed his masters in Devising Theatre. He will embark on his M.F.A. this coming fall. I know this path of academic pursuit and self-affirmation began with Rebecca’s help in high school.
Our son Jacques reached out to Rebecca to assist in his United States college transfer process as an academic student and athlete. These non-parallel interests and schedules are not concurrent, so the transfer process was a long, committed endeavor. Rebecca knew Jacques as a BFIS student, and even though she had transferred back to the US, she was as dedicated and committed to helping him in the transfer process as if he were her student. She helped him on many fronts; casting a larger net of targeted undergraduate business schools, personalized suggestions to help tailor his essay to be less general and truly reflect his character, and built his confidence by talking through the uncertain and more difficult process of acceptance as a transfer student than as a freshman.
Rebecca devoted many hours and support with many different deadlines to help Jacques land a dream choice at the Kenan-Flagler undergraduate business school at UNC Chapel Hill. I can honestly say that the journey that took Jacques to UNC came at Rebecca’s strong suggestion of a great fit. What a fabulous one it is! Jacques loves playing varsity soccer for the Heels, and he loves the rigor of the business school academics and the incredibly upbeat Carolina campus vibe.
I can unequivocally recommend Rebecca as a professional college counselor. She generously invests in the relationship and spends time to fully understand the needs of each student and their family through a dynamic process. She has visited and knows well many schools in both Europe and in the U.S. Most essentially, Rebecca is passionate about her chosen profession and pro-actively commits to helping students achieve their goals and dreams."

"Ms. Chabrow played a critical role in my academic success. She stands out due to the unique personal care she provides and her level of preparation and consistency in keeping up with me as well as her other students. She always did an excellent job helping me evaluate my course options based on my academic performance and potential, as well as helping me prepare a competitive resume and application for colleges.
Ms. Chabrow encouraged me to take advanced classes to stand out as an applicant. She advocated for me to skip a lower level math class, get placed into a higher level class, and eventually helped me enroll in Virtual High School so that I could take an advanced AP Math course that wasn’t offered at my high school.
At the beginning of my senior year, Ms. Chabrow very excitedly told me that she visited Georgia Tech’s campus over the summer and felt that it would be a great fit for me with my interest in becoming a pilot. She strongly recommended that I visit the campus and apply. I ended up being the first student from my high school to attend Georgia Tech, and I graduated with highest honor in Aerospace Engineering. I would not have been able to achieve this without Ms. Chabrow’s assistance, and I am genuinely thankful."

"When I began applying to universities, I already knew that I wanted to go abroad, but I knew nothing about how to do it. Luckily, I had Ms. Chabrow to assist me from beginning to end! With her prior experience working abroad she was able to recommend universities that not just had my intended major, but also would fit my personality and preferences. Ms. Chabrow motivated me with deadlines and a lot of one-on-one assistance to make sure that my applications were not only completed in a timely fashion but in the best condition I could make them. Even after my applications were submitted, she coached and assisted me with my interviews to make sure that I was prepared to answer all the questions presented to me in multiple formats. I can honestly say that without Ms. Chabrow’s help and much-needed persistence, my university application process would have been very overwhelming and not nearly as successful!"
